Our hope at Village Babies Development Center is to transform our facility into your child’s home away from home. With all of the amenities and comforts our location provides, your child will adjust quickly and soon feel like she’s part of the Village Babies family.
Village Babies is located in a bright, spacious, recently-remodeled three-story building in South Orange, New Jersey. A multitude of features makes our facility an ideal location for a child care center. We’re located only a quarter mile from the South Orange train station, making it much easier on the large portion of our parents who commute to work every day. The ample parking lot in the rear makes picking up and dropping off your child simple and safe.
The Village Babies building is divided into three levels – on the ground floor you’ll find the 1500 square foot indoor gym, the first floor is devoted to offices and classrooms for our infants and toddlers, and the pre-school classes constitute the second floor.
We have two outdoor play areas in the front and rear of the building. When in season, children and parents alike are welcome to pick apples and peaches from our trees outside. Natural light spills into the classrooms from the large windows throughout the building. Our children can play outside in our little log house, use building blocks to construct their own architectural masterpieces, or make friends with all four of the Village Babies bunnies. The children’s artwork and photographs of them (our Children at Work photo series) adorn the walls, bringing a sense of life to wherever you go in the facility.
